Supporting Beijing’s First Concrete Modular School

Recently, a milestone has been reached in the comprehensive renovation project of Beijing No.14 Middle School, which is undertaken by China Construction Hailong Technology Co., Ltd. – the first precast concrete modular building unit has been successfully hoisted. This marks that Beijing’s first concrete modular school has officially entered the critical stage of main module construction.

Hebei Xindadi has customized the MIC modular system for this project, providing key support for the efficient advancement of the project.

                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              

Flexible mold:  a single mold supports the production of 12 types of components

In response to the characteristics of school buildings, such as complex functions and diverse spaces, the R&D team of Hebei Xindadi has broken through the limitations of traditional molds and tailored 3 sets of high-precision flexible molds for the project, covering all building module needs including ordinary classrooms, pipe shafts, elevator shafts, and restrooms. Among them, a single set of mold can realize the rapid switching production of 12 types of components through adjustable tables and intelligent mold assembly technology. This technology not only significantly reduces the mold cost, but also ensures the balance between standardization and diversification of modular buildings with high precision and high adaptability.

 

Through unremitting efforts, Hebei Xindadi has designed high-precision and high-standard MIC modular molds. The mold has realized the standardization of accessories such as the base mold, outer mold, inner mold, stairs and guardrails, enabling the MIC mold to be reused in similar projects by more than 60%. The base mold is fixed on the original table. Due to the height restriction of the factory building, the inner mold can be disassembled as required. The outer mold is equipped with a pulley mechanism, which can be easily pushed manually, making it convenient, quick and simple to operate.
